Health Care Professionals Critical Of Tom's DIY Ultrasounds

ACR Ultrasound Commission Chairman Carol M. Rumack said in a statement:

"Untrained people, even if they have the financial means, should not buy, or be allowed to buy and operate, ultrasound machines which are, in fact, medical devices and should not be used without a medical indication .... the ACR is concerned that Tom Cruise has been badly advised."

I expect a story tomorrow stating that he didn't mean that he does them all by himself, that he has a technician come in and the advice of a physician.
